What is Overthinking and How to control overthinking ??

What is Overthinking according to me....

Everyday something happens to all of us in life that we cannot get out of it many times. Sometimes if some other person tells something wrong about us or makes fun of us, then some such things go home in our mind, which human being fails to come out. 

He/She starts thinking something in their mind that I am like this. Why did he/she say this about me? Or why am i like this? 

That person creates his own ideas by thinking something by himself. Whenever he starts any work, he keeps thinking whether it has happened or if it has not happened?

Though thinking is not a wrong thing, but thinking becomes harmful when we think excessively and start wishing to overcome things which are not under our control.

This is called overthinking.

Its effects -
  • Many kinds of diseases grip our body due to over-thinking. 
  • We always start feeling unwell.
  • Many times we make many assumptions towards ourselves such as always thinking ourselves right or always wrong.
  • This causes depression because over-thinking affects our mental health. 
  • It also causes anxiety and frustration.

Its causes -
  • self-esteem issues
  • To doubt oneself
  • Some past events that have had bad experiences.
  • Always thinking I am right
  • no listening skills

Now the question is how to get rid of it?
  • Forgetting the past, we should start afresh.
  • We should not get into things like "if-buts and maybe". For example, we should not think that if I had done this, it probably would not have happened
  • If a mistake has happened to you in the past, then you should not always think about that mistake, but you should make every effort to rectify that mistake so that you do not repeat the mistake again in future.
  • One should always focus on positive things by removing negative thinking from the mind.
  • Do something that makes you happy, like I am interested in painting and sharing my thoughts.
  • One should always be grateful for what God has given you because many do not even have this.
  • It should always be kept in mind that we cannot predict the future. Therefore, one should enjoy life by living in present.

अत्याधिक सोच किसे कहते हैं -

ज़िन्दगी में हर रोज़ हम सभी के साथ कुछ न कुछ ऐसा हो जाता है कि हम कई बार उससे बहार ही नहीं निकल पाते। कभी कोई दूसरा व्यक्ति हमारे बारे में कुछ ग़लत बोल दे या हमारा मज़ाक बनाये तो ऐसी कुछ बातें हमारे दिमाग़ में घर कर जाती हैं जिनसे बाहर आने में इंसान नाकामयाब हो जाता है। 

वह अपने मन में कुछ न कुछ सोचने लग जाता है कि मैं ऐसा हूँ क्या ? मेरे बारे में ऐसा क्यों कहा उसने ? या मैं ऐसा क्यों हूँ ? 

वो व्यक्ति खुद से ही कुछ न कुछ सोच के अपनी धारणाएं बना लेता है। वह जब भी कोई काम शुरू करता है तो यही सोचता रहता है कि कहीं ऐसा हो गया तो या ऐसा नहीं हुआ तो ?

हालाँकि सोचना गलत बात नहीं है परन्तु सोचना तब हानिकारक बन जाता है जब हम ज़रूरत से ज़्यादा सोचते हैं और वो चीज़ों पर काबू पाने की इच्छा करने लगते हैं जो हमारे वश में न हो।

इसी को अत्याधिक सोचना कहते हैं। 


इसके प्रभाव -
  • ज़्यादा सोचने के कारण कई प्रकार के रोग हमारे शरीर को जकड़ लेते हैं। 
  • हम हमेशा खुद को अस्वस्थ महसूस करने लगते हैं।  
  • कई बार हम अपने प्रति कई धारणाएं बना लेते हैं जैसे कि खुद को हमेशा सही या हमेशा ग़लत मानना। 
  • यह अवसाद का कारण बनता है क्योंकि अति-सोच हमारे मानसिक स्वास्थ्य को प्रभावित करती है।
  • यह चिंता और हताशा का भी कारण बनती है। 

इसके कारण -
  • आत्म-सम्मान की समस्याएं। 
  • खुद पर संदेह करना।  
  • बीते समय की कुछ ऐसी घटनाएं जिनमें बुरा अनुभव रहा हो। 
  • हमेशा यह सोचना के मैं ही सही हूँ। 
  • किसी कि बात न सुनना। 

अब प्रशन यह है कि इससे छुटकारा कैसे पाया जाये ? 
  • अतीत को भूलाकर एक नयी शुरुआत करनी चाहिए। 
  • हमें "अगर-मगर और शायद" जैसी बातों में नहीं पड़ना चाहिए। उदाहरण के लिए, हमें यह नहीं सोचना चाहिए कि अगर मैंने ऐसा किया होता तो शायद ऐसा नहीं होता। 
  • अगर आपसे कोई ग़लती अतीत में हुई है तो हमेशा उस गलती के बारे में नहीं सोचते रहना चाहिए बल्कि उस गलती को सुधारने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास करना चाहिए ताकि भविष्य में आप दोबारा ग़लती न दोहराएं। 
  • नकारात्मक सोच को मन में से निकाल कर हमेशा अपना ध्यान सकारात्मक चीजों की और लगाना चाहिए। 
  • वह काम करें जिसमें आपको ख़ुशी मिलती हो जैसे कि मुझे चित्रकारी करने में और अपने विचार साझा करने में रूचि है। 
  • जो भी आपको भगवान ने दिया है उसके लिये हमेशा आभारी रहना चाहिए क्योंकि कईओं के पास यह भी नहीं होता।   
  • इस बात का एहसास हमेशा मन में रखना चाहिए कि हम भविष्य का अंदाज़ा नहीं लगा सकते। इसलिए वर्तमान में रहकर ज़िन्दगी का लुत्फ़ उठाना चाहिए।

Everyone's life has changed in few days. Who did know these kind of days will come in our life. wait wait wait but now you have been thinking that which days are you talking about ?  So yes I am talking about corona days.  Some enjoy these days because after so many years they got relaxed from their jobs but some get frustrated, anxious or depressed at home alone.   So if someone is feeling frustrated or depressed Please keep calm and relax.
